We recommend a suction vacuum for routine cleaning. Rotating brush cleaners may damage pile surface. For shag rugs, shaking the rug or using a vacuum with a nozzle attachment is best. Light marks or dirt can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Please follow all care instructions on your rug for best results.

Blot any liquid or spills immediately with a dry absorbent cloth or white paper towel. Some stains may be cleaned with a mixture of mild clear detergent and lukewarm water, or by using carpet shampoo.

Spills should never be scrubbed. Avoid excess water during cleaning, and dry the rug on a flat surface. Using harsh chemicals may damage your rug. Seek professional cleaning advice for severe stains.

Wool rugs normally have mild shedding. Fluff/ shedding is also common in some of our man-made rugs (acrylic, viscose, polyester). Shedding is normally most noticeable in the first several months of use and will reduce over time.

We recommend regular vacuuming to remove excess fluff or fibres.
